CCU, the second-largest brewer in Argentina and a key player in the cider, spirits, and wine industries, needed to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. With a product portfolio spanning licensed and imported brands like Heineken, PepsiCo, and Guinness, CCU required two critical software solutions:

1. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to streamline internal workflows such as bank payment reconciliation, purchase order processing, and generating customer debt reports.

2. A modernized, reliable customer-facing distribution portal to enable seamless order placements by over 2,500 distributors across multiple countries.

Downtime or inefficiencies in these systems could result in significant revenue loss and operational disruptions, making high performance and reliability critical.

The solution

AccelOne developed and deployed two tailored solutions to address CCU’s needs:

1. Robotic Process Automation (RPA): Leveraging Selenium Python and Docker, we automated repetitive internal processes to improve efficiency and reduce human error.

2. Customer-Facing Distribution Portal:

   • Version 1: We focused on improving performance and adding new functionalities to the software they had developed internally. Built with Python using Django, this initial version was a robust platform to handle order placements and streamline distributor interactions.

We upgraded to a more advanced architecture with a React-based front end and a highly customized backend powered by Python in Enterprise ODOO, this improved user experience, performance, and scalability. The goal in the future is to add more features to the portal.
